hid, how have you mounted the ballasts/cancellers?

fitted hids yesterday to the preface without removing headlights or bumper. went in easy, but left me little room to mount everything lol.
passenger side i am thinking of mounting in the hidden battery compartment, but not sure on drivers side by airbox,

where have you all mounted yours?

not yet mate, had the car nearly a year now, and still havent a single pic of it, let alone now i have fitted new lights lol

Is there not a space below the lights which is designed for the OEM HIDS Balast to be fitted? I am sure I have seen people cable tuie the balast to these mounting point.

Try a search on fitting HIDS to see if anything comes up....!

On facelift yes but not on preface (I dont think)

Mine came with the slim ballast so I mounted the driver side one on the inner wing with double sided foam tape, between the wing and the airbox.

tidyed up a bit more today, still not happy with how they are mounted tbh, going to have to do something better. i have the ballast, a black block (relay???) and the block for the cancellers to hide away on each side lol

As said above there are 3 mounting screws.

Just swapped over to dark lights so took advantage of the screws (Not pretty but its all out of sight):
