Make sure it is new though and it's not been used before, once a keys been coded it can't be re-used on a different car.

You "car pass" has the key number on it which you have the key cut to. Then it needs to have the transponder coded tot he car whcih you do using Tech2 or opcom etc...

When I bought my Vectra I had one key. I bought a key and had it coded to the car for £83 all in by the mail vauxhall dealer. They also cleared the missing key so It would not work on the car.

I also had one key and bought a brand new blank key for £12 and then got the key cur for £11. All done on eBay. I then coded it myself with op-com. Do total cost £23!!

New keys don't come up that often. It'll be the new flip key style. Make sure you read the eBay advert as it may just be the casing they are selling.

You will need your car pass for cutting the key and also accessing the imobiliser part of the ECU.
