hi allwhat is a good make tyre to fit a dti sri 15
the size is 215 - 55 -17 91w
i dont do many miles on motorways and dont want to pay the earth

You sure the size isn't 215/50/17?

The cheaper alternative is to fit the 225/45/17 sized tyre instead as it's a more common size.

My personal recommendation is the Unroyal Rainsport2. Best tyres I've ever had.

have a look at the Neuton NT5000's from Neo bro's (ebay) i can confirm they are a very good tyre & you can get 4 x 215/50/17 xl rated, which are also mud & snow rated for £250 inc next day delivery...
plenty of folk on this forum will vouch for them.
