    Default vectra indicators

car was in the dealers on Monday and my problems with the indicators cancelling have been solved at last.

thanks to Duncan for the info you posted, as I turned up knowing what I was on about when I told them it needed a new CIM module.

problem I had was basically when turning right (on full indicate) they would cancel halfway through the turn, which meant I always had to watch out on roundabouts incase someone pulled out in front of me

and as Big Davie and VP will testify, East Kilbride seems to have more roundabouts than anywhere else

so if you have this problem get on to your dealer, its covered under warranty.

I had this problem on my old 2004 2.2 SXi. It drove me crazy and it kept doing on left and right. The dealer said "they all do that sir" and refused to fix it. When I mentioned the CIM module, they reconed they swapped it when it was in prevoiusly. You cant win with some dealers. So I put up with it for 2 years.
I'm glad to say my new Vec is perfect!

no, it's not easy to replace.. you need to have TECH2 as well, as you will have to code the 2 keys back to the new CIM module, as well as programming other 'settings' back into it...Main dealer only job i'm afraid..

Mine is screwy too. I put the indicators on prior to turning, go to make the the turn, and they turn off lol, barely even move the wheel.

Might take it in if I can be bothered to fight the dealer 'they all do that' attitude.

And the part isn't cheap either. Something around £300, or possibly more, if I remember correctly.

Yep, that price is about right. Had to have mine done last month, and it's still bit of a sore subject...
