Default Washer bottle level sensor location

    Hey guys,

I've just finished the TID to GID conversion on my '02 Vectra C (LS but now very much the opposite ) and for the life of me I cannot find the plug for the washer bottle sensor.

I've traced every piece of loom and cannot find the blank plug anywhere.

The only wires near to the bottle is for the washer pump and the n/s horn.

Is it because my car was one of the first or is it because it's a low trim level?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Ed.

I had the feeling someone would say that, thanks anyway.

Did he bridge it just to loose the message mate. - if so, I don't suppose you could tell me the location of the fuse?

    Thanks again.

It's a very simple thing to fit if you don't have. It basically switches a wire from the fusebox (connection 14 on one of the multi plugs on the main fuse box springs to mind but do a search) to earth, so just get the right plug, run one side to earth and the other to that point on the front fuse box and it will be fine.

Take that plug off connect a wire to pin 14 and earth it to disable the warning, or run that wire to the sensor and the other side of the sensor to earth if you want it all to work as it should

    Cheers buddy,

Having read that you can turn it off in DIS I might just do that tomorrow at work. (I work for Vauxhall :P) save messing around with the fuse box!

Can sort the GID, Wiper stalk and washer light all at the same time.
