    Default help double din kit

    I fitted double din other day but I didn't use any the screws or plates as I don't no were these go or what they do also some kind of sponges that stick on summit yer the stereo OS in and won't come out unless push behind but its bugging me what to do with these bits

    Hi you don't use the sponge as I said before get your head unit and the side plates that in the kit then get the clips that fit in the side plates and slot them in the groves in the side plate adjust them so they a not to far forward and screw the side plate's to the head unit you should use the third hole on the plate fit the cage and just push your head unit in to see how much the front sticks out. If to much move the clips in the side plate's . When you are happy with it slide the cage back out and slide the cage through the surround and push back into the dash and push the tabs on the cage to lock it in place. Now connect the head unit wires up and push the head unit in till you hear a click but make sure that you don't catch any of the wires now to the head on to make sure it's working all that left to do is fit the face plate and that it

    Cheers for right up al have a go tomorrow my headunit don't stick out its nicely in place the surround moves slighly and 2 clips on the black surround broke so used sticky silicon pads
