    Default Spray painting Roof box

Bought a Karrite 380ltr roof box off ebay last night for pricly sum of £26. But I am after colour matching the lid of it to the car (well black anyway) as the base is black, has anyone either done it themselvs or know anything about doing it.

    Thanks

    Dave

i did it to my corsa see below.

this was a rush job as i needed it ready for a show, you will need to smooth the roof box down so its smooth unlike mine! then use a filler primer then the paint colour of your choice followed bu plenty of layers of lacquer. once its had 24-48 hours to dry wet flat it back (only if you get an orange peel effect) and slap on a very good polish and wax to seal and shine.

Maybe a filler primer instead of smoothing it would be easier,

might not be flexible enough tho ?

tried that steve, you really do need to sand it back first then use a filler primer then paint it. mines not cracked at all and its broken so the top of the box flexes when open.
