    Default Any recommendations on glowplugs?

My Dad's CDTi 150 has a dead glow plug and garage said its wise to change all four....

I'm just curious to what, if any, brand of glowplug is better than others, such as Bosch, NGK or Denso etc.

    Thanks in advance

Get the best ones you can afford , you will reap the benefit of having quality ignition components when it comes to cold starts , and they won't shear off like the cheap ones do when you come to change them next time

I got genuine VX ones. Around £60 for all 4, which wasn't bad at all. A decent set can cost you £40-£50. Avoid the £20 eBay ones like the plague!

NGK are decent and not too expensive if you trawl ebay.

Yes, I greased mine with regular copper grease. Makes things a bit easier next time round!

I used Bosch and copper grease. They have in for more than a year and seem ok so far.
