vectra z22se engine problem

hello guys any advice would be appreciated ive got a vectra 2.2 sri z22se engine the problem is a mad one when im low on petrol my car runs and drives nice when i put more than £10 petrol in it looses power it idles ok just when you put your foot down doesnt want to no but its ok when its realy low on petrol ive changed the fuel filter airfilter and plugs..... i had it converted to lpg about 3 years ago which it runs fine on... if there was dirt in the tank would that course it to do this or would it do it all the time... any advice would be greatfull thanks very much

Arr right, as the 05 is the YH and is known for its fueling problems. Does the LPG convertion have some sort of switch over when its running low on fuel? All I can think of is some shorting out of the fuel level sender with the pump or something with the LPG conversion????

ive also notice aswell if i put £10 in petrol the computer still shows no miles and the petrol light still flashes even though its on a quater of a tank i know you dont get much miles to a tenner these days but surely it should still show something so maybe it could have something to do with fuel sender but would that course the problem i have...

Unless you put a few gallons in, the gauge, fuel comp, etc won't register it.
