Default Loss of power and engine judder in 5th and 6th

    Hi

Thought it was the EGR valve causing this, garage confirmed it was the egr, but wanted £300 quid to replace it, so tried blanking it off. Car goes better, uses less fuel, but if i boot it, still does it in 5th and 6th, engines almost misfires and all the power goes, any ideas?

Try checking to vacuum pipes at the front of the engine check pipe and unions. Most common fault for loss of power and missfiring.
