Default Returning to the Vauxhall way of life.

Shame its been a VERY bumpy path

Picked up a 06 plate 150 SRi CDti, thought it was a tad cheap, and soon found out why

2 days after buying it the DMF went, so 3 days later it was in at my work getting the lot replaced

then 5 days later, I am hard stopped by Hampshires finest, 2 wanted markers on the ANPR system

Still, 3 weeks in, loving the comfort on my 50 mile a day commute, and the is running sweet as ( for now )

I come from 6 years in VWs mainly MkII Golfs and B3 Passats, before that was 7 years on bikes, and right back to the beginning was a LOt of different Vauxhalls, from Novas thru to Senators.

As for a job, just left the RAF after 23 years and now Work for a Small family run dealer as Valeter and after Sales assistant

Thanks for reading, and hopefully I wont have too many technical questions to ask

    thanks,

when stopped they said it could take weeks.

after a visit and a few calls seems the ex owner, a female, is now on the run with her failed to return from day release prisoner.

I bought it from an ebay trader, so they are now trying to trace back thru him, all markers are off the car

Welcome to you, I feel for the pain on both the DMF and the hard stop!! I bet that woke you up, never a pleasant experience to encounter.
Did they offer any kind of explanation as to why?
