That's about 23mpg. Not good. When was it serviced last?
its stamped up fully up intill 70,000 what would you reccomend changing the usual filer , oil pollen filer , air filter , the guy i got it off said it had a oil change just before he got the car , worry about the burnt oil smell at the min =(
the 55 miles that its returned was me putting £15 in the car when the warning range of 31 miles came up
Thats quite bad. You got a leak?? I thought mine was bad......it does approx 45-50 miles to a tenner, and I do drive with a heavy right foot.
its shocking mate really psd off about it just got rid of a 2.3 v5 bora and i was 50 miles to a tenner , not sure if it being in limp moded helping any
I get more than that out of my turbo
really confused has to why the mpg is just so poor , just cant start pooring money into a bottomless pit only had the car 2 days and the list is adding up allready
You haven't said and no one has asked about the 55 miles. Was it stop start in traffic, round town, motorway? Was the engine warn or cold? 10 short journeys if 5.5 miles or one 55 mile journey?
hi sorry forgot that part , the 55 miles was town driving and alittle bit of motorway and , starting from cold but like i put it goes into limp mode after about 5 mins of driving dont think thats helping , just checked the air filter and that was mancky and dirty so going to get a new1 of those tommorow
If it went into limp mode then I would get the codes read. Being in limp mode isn't the most economical, it's designed to get you home in a no frills way.
