Tech 2 help please

Hi guys I need help to programme my autolights/auto wipers and auto dim mirror, I've got a loan of tech 2 but can get the stuff to active, would anyone have some sort of user manual to activate the sensors/switch as I've spent hours looking thru and no option to activate?? Maybe it's just I'm not doing it right so hoping someone would give me step by step help on how to sort it??

Hi what system are you using When I did my auto dim mirror you need to go to rear body REC then variant config Look for auto dim mirror and set to present when you done that go out of the menu and turn it off and the car leave for 15 seconds so the car reset it self and it should be done the same as the auto lights as well.That's how I did when I used vaux com

Im in BCM ATM and entered in my security code, not it's saying quiescent current optimization either press inactive or active, which one do I press?

Theres no manuals mate the guys at vauxhall go on courses to learn how to use it.

The word you have wrote "quiescent" is that correct? Someone posted on your other thread what control modules you needed to change did you follow this ok?

Now hardware all done. Going to tech2 section. You will need to program:
UEC, set rain sensor to present
BCM, set auto headlight switch to present
REC, set rain/light sensor to present
REC, set auto dimming mirror to present

Copy/Pasted from the above mentioned how 2.

Come out of that and start from Beginning Menu put your car model & year Then next to body module rear REC then variant config scroll down to what you are after and to it on to present do this for the mirror and the lights and wipers and press save now switch of for 1min then turn back on Oh I forgot about that you need to put your code in before you can alter anything

Right guys pressed what I wanted to present, turned off tech 2 and locked the car for 5 mins, started car up and tried the stuff nothing works, plugged tech 2 back in everythig has been set back to not present, why is that??

Yeah mate, it's the BCM that keeps resetting now, before a go on to it do I press inactive or active?
