    confused Replacement Ultrasonic Module

Can anybody help, I've searched for related posts but haven't found the answer. Have a 56 plate 1.9CDTI 150 Estate, damn Safeguard warning on display every time IGN on. Told by local stealers that new u/sonic module needed and quoted £216. Anyone know where I can buy one? Quoted price is a joke.

    Thanks

the stealer is wrong , the usual cause of this problem in an estate is either the rear tailgate heating element is broken at some point because this also runs the alarm
or one of the thin back wires on the rear side windows has broken as this is also for the alarm

    Hello lee gsi,

Been waiting for the forum to come back online. I've checked everything out and all seems OK. I can only assume it as actually the ultrasonic module. I'll buy your spare if it's still available. How do I go about buying it?

    Thanks.
