Eek cloth seats - never again, leather all the way

well today i set about using an upholstery cleaning machine on the cloth seats in the wife's vec exclusive.. The seats looked clean to start with but i figured i would be the the good husband and give them a nice clean anyway.

Now i wish i had never started, the crap that is coming out of these seats is unbelievable. I have made countless passes over the seats with this machine and the water still comes through dirty brown.. The front seats being the worst of course..

This will be the last car i buy with a cloth interior, you think its clean but think again because in reality its probably skankin.

Anybody know of any other good upholstery shampoos that are worth there money.. I did not want to mod this car but i have a feeling a leather interior is going to appear on the list for the coming year..

Have you "over wet" the seats as this will bring the dirt from the depth of the seating.

its a Bissell Powerwash Proheat, a very good bit of kit... Luckily tits just the drivers seat and the arm rest that are so bad... the other seats the water came back clean much sooner.. I reckon i will stick with this thing for now, lets just hope the seats dry out this afternoon as its off for its MOT tomorrow but the wife will not be driving it until Wednesday..

How do you think I feel, went from leather in my V6 Vec to that suede effect stuff in my Ovtavia Vrs.....and it has light grey panels on the seats !

Had to buy some Supagard interior, it is just like scotchguard so treats the seats and makes them stain proof.
