Not many had a tc button, it can be added but there is no guarantee it will do anything. Electric seats were an optional extra. Is yours a facelift or pre facelift? If its a facelift I doubt it has TC either.

Hi & welcome to the site! your post has puzzled me a bit (or perhaps its just me that does a little research before buying a car!) anyway congratulations on your purchase, an 05 elite as your first car...v good!

I know on some "blank" TC switches (pre face-lift) you can fit a switch & it will work..the boffins on here will soon tell you. None of my Vec's had electric seats. As far as I am aware the 2.2's are fine, get ready for a few mods, and its the law (yes, it is) to post pics of your car..enjoy it!
