Anyone else got a Harmony one remote ...

Now,
if like me you have one ... it may be time to check the battery ... mine wasnt holding its charge for longer than 5-10 minutes out of the dock so i thought i would purchase a new battery .... on trying to remove the old one it had swollen and i couldnt get it out ! (yes the battery and the remote! )

thought i was going mad ... went online and it seems to be quite a common problem !

some have actually exploded - although there has not been a recall launched

so i contacted logitech customer services who sent me out a replacement remote free of charge! even though my remote was over two years old! if the battery had been removeable they would have just sent a replacement battery.. they have now disabled my old remote and ive just transferred onto the new one

so if you have one ... check it ... if necessary contact Logitech and get it replaced FOC before it goes POP !!

Sounds dodgy to me Dez (harmony one), like something you'd find in Ann Summers. Whats it a remote for? Activating the elec pump on your blow up doll?
