Dash Lights

Just noticed tonight that all my lights for dash, buttons, heater etc are working apart from the headlight switch (fog and adj buttons) is there a seperate fues for this? I would be surprised if it is a fues as they are only LED's and take very little current. Any one know what the likley problem could be?

Is the light switch not turned on with the ignition?

Whereas the remainder of the panel lights are operated when the lights are turned on.

Illumination for the light switch is controlled by the BCM..

So thngs to check are..

Turn on the ignition, and see if the light switch lights up

Check the wire from the BCM to the light switch.. cannot remember the exact pin number.. but can look this up.

Faulty LED within the switch unit... very unlikely as there are loads of them.

Loose connector (12 pin quadlock) of faulty, damaged or snapped wire in the connector. Disconnect, and then reconnect the plug to check.

Robsey, Spot on, thanks. They are switched on with ignition only and not just the light switch without the key in. I noticed this morning. Nearly bought a new switch unit of fleebay as well, just in case.
