    Default LED Speedometer Conversion

    Hey guys,

Well i've had a busy day converting my most of the LED's in my car.

I have converted: Driver & Passenger door switches, headlight control unit, heater control unit & main dash display unit.

I still have to convert: Roof light buttons, steering wheel controls & Dash Alarm Button.

I now have to convert the LEDs in my speedometer. I have 32 PLCC2 LED's left and I just want to check if I can use these LEDs in the speedometer or if I would have to get a different type?

Also does anyone know how to remove the speedometer?

    Thanks

I originally fitted side led's to my dash but found that they werent bright enough. I then used plcc2 3528's mounted sideways. And wot an improvement. If you use these, just make sure you mount them the right way round for correct polarity.

    Default Update

Well I have successfully changed the LED's in my Speedo.

    I used PLCC-2 3528 as I didn't have the Sideled... I gotta say, they worked a treat!

I'll take a pic later when its darker
