    Default Removing boot badge

    Hi all.

can i take the vauxhall boot badge off my 56 cdti sri , without leaving any holes in the boot lid.

i've already removed the badges off the chrome strip and wasn't sure if that one would come off without leaving holes .

tried it on another car i had and ended up having to glue it back on as there where locating holes underneath .

    cheers.

I poured a kettle of hot water on the badge to to soften the glue first... Pealed off fine after this... Then used wax to get the remaing rubber glue stufff off... Loads of elbow grease needed i found... End result a tidy rear end...

And Randomly just for fun.... a Vectra Boot Drive By... Brap Brap...

    badge now removed.

    1. old bank card, gently prize the badge off the boot lid.

    2. pick off large bits of black foam/glue with finger nails.

    3. rub off whats left of the glue with finger tips (leaving a nice blister ).

    4. 2-3 goes with a good polish (wilkinsons own brand ).

    5. 25-30 mins later, stand back and check out the good work.

    not bad .
