Default vectra c 1.8 sri running issues

Hi after my previous thread i have now changed the thermostat and housing along with sensor, also changed the maf sensor.Recent oil change and plugs/air filter.

After changing the thermostat i didnt notice any change to my car apart from the guage now working properly,The car still using water.
After changing the maf the car does feel different (but doesnt feel right) but i must say i was low on oil so i got a oil change done, every day now i go to start the car and it stalls straight away and then once i start again its fine.it used to do this sometimes but now its everyday.
I get a burning smell soemtimes after useing the car but can not pin point where from.
also the smell of petrol i get alot of the time.
    yes bad on mpg still
The power is very slightly differant but still feels flat, After acceleration the car feels horribe to climb up the revs and doesnt really go anywhere.
i get slight hesitation sometimes too which i thought the maf would of solved that but hasnt.
cambelt done 10k ago (car now done 115k).
Still have problem with clutch and carnt afford to repair it just yet as the cylnder int he clutch needs replacing and at same time clutch...

    any help ill be gratefull

I would clean out the throttle body next and clean the lambda sensors.

i recently took the throttle body off my wife's 1.8 and found some breather holes beneath the butterfly were completely block so a shoved a needle and thread through them..

The lambdas do wear out and if faultly will affect your fueling. I am not sure where they are on the 1.8, but on my 2.0T they are lambda 1 before the cat and lambda 2 in the exhaust mid section under the car. You can unscrew them and soak them in vinegar over night then clean them with carb cleaner and reinsert them. Initially you may blow white smoke for 10 or 20 seconds as they sort themselves out. They are expensive to replace from the dealer but there is a bloke on ebay selling them for the vec, message him and he will sell you the correct type if you can't find them..

yeh there the same on my car,
wheres best to buy these? cheap 1's will do as im selling next year for a cdti version.
I have no tools to remove these esp the front 1 on the manifold these are ******s and had to go to local garage to get this changed on a previous car (astra) so ill have to buy the parts and replace them.
I did have it plugged in and there was a few bits but not 100% on what they where, 1 was clutch sensor and 1 was somet about maf sensor (i changed this tho before i had it plaugged in) and there were 2 more i think but not sure what they were,
the mechanic said he will wipe them and then go back in a few week to see if any come up.
He did look at lambda voltages and 1 was 1. somet and other 0. somet and didnt change voltage on reving the engine. im not 100% what the voltage were as i only just had small peak.
