    Default Vectra satnav's...anygood?

Ive seen a Vectra that im hoping(fingers crossed) i will soon be in ownership of and it has satnav built it.

Are they any good? Ive already got a TomTom so do i sell the TomTom and just use the built in satnav or do i keep the TomTom just incase?

Also how do i update the built in satnav? i plug my TOmTom into my PC every few weeks to keep it updated.

    Thanks

I dont complain about my satnavn.. but depending on model, you can either not use postcode, or max of 5 digits in..

The update.. well you buy a new CD when you want new roads.. and keep it in..

Well for me personally the satnav is not bad at all. I've also got the Traffic alert feature which is very handy. From me its a 9/10.

I love my sat nav in my 2006 Sri. Never had an issue with it and always got me where I need to go without any fuss. Traffic alerts can be useful too.

Not touch screen though but then I hate cleaning finger prints off most things

I'll pop out in a mo and take some pics so you can see how it operates. Give me 20 mins or so.

The Vec SatNav is very basic, worst feature being 5 digit postcodes. I have a TomTom 920T and it is pretty faultless and is superior in every way except one.....it's not built in.
For a 08'...20k motor it's poor....very poor and for those who say it good, you either haven't used a TomTom or your not too fussy....no offence
