Default Bong bong sounder - how to mute or disconnect

Anyone know how mute or disconnect the incessant BONG BONG sounder on a Vectra C (2007, 2.2L, petrol estate)? The one that goes off at every opportunity like opening the door with key in ignition or lights on etc. Would be less annoying if not so loud.

Where is the sounder itself and how can I get to it - to mute it in some way. Or how to disconnect completely without the car complaining?

    Thanks for any help.

    Pete

Might be wrong, but my understanding is that this is built into the CIM and not possible to disable it.

I think you can change the volume via Op-Com/Vaux-Com/Tech-2; not sure if you can disable it though.

The bit I find amusing is if you open the door at a standstill, you get a warning bong bong bong. If you do it at 30mph nothing happens. Surely it's more dangerous to have a door open at speed rather than stationary?

if your talking about the seat belt warning and light then yeah you can
either have the light still flash but no noise or them both can be fully
    disabled via tech2.

i had them both disables on me previous signum as they were just a pain
in the ar*e and soon as i can get over to me friends to get me bluetooth
programmed then this will also be on the list to get disabled.

If you open the door with the ignition off you get the warning (to remind you that you've got the keys in the ignition still and/or the lights on). But if the engine is running you don't get the warnings.

So at 30mph when you opened the door I'm assuming the engine is running - and so you don't get a warning to say you've left your keys in or lights on.

You can mute it using OP-COM and you also change the sounds to! I cant remember where the option is though!
