Alot of work being done tomorrow on the Vectra!

Booked my Vectra in for a full day tomorrow with Vauxcare on the Wirral.

Things to be done:
Cambelt
Waterpump
Alternator Belt
CV joints (maybe just 1)
Brakes stripping and re-doing due to squealing cheap pads
Pre-MOT inspection as MOT is in November and I want it ready to pass!

I'm a bit nervous as I hear about garages charging for work and don't even lift the bonnet. Vauxcare was recommended to me and I am not accusing this company of doing anything like this but it's always in the back of the mind.

Hoping the bill doesn't exceed £500.

Bought the car from a dodgy garage and it had just passed it's MOT yet when I got it home one front pad was metal on metal and the others had about 1/4 inch left on them.

I just want the car safe as we have a child due in March and don't want anything going wrong expecially if it causes any danger to my kid, and also just because I don't want the repair costs when I've got a new born or a toddler!
