    Default Chrome v grill

    I'm just wondering about my chrome v grill I'm off work this week and I'm thinking of painting it does it come straight out like a Pre facelift or do I need to remove bumper is it all one piece

    the v on the facelifts are held in with lot of clips mate........better removing the bumper as you dont want the clips broken for refitting.

    Yep remove front bumper first. I then got lots of flat head bits and wedged them under the clips. After that it came out really easy. Slowly edging it out. Only took around 25 mins all in all. And that was me being extra cautious.

    Thanks guys I was kinda hoping that I didn't need to drop the bumper is there anywhere that I can buy one already painted

    I can't remember the website but if you google vxr parts I'm sure it will come up..
    But there's a site where you can get a colour coded v grill for about 100 quid all in

    but make sure you order all the parts to it because I think you need a new badge
