car back, all ok, i do recall when driving it the other day going over some bumps it did feel a bit skittish at the back as if it was sliding slightly, from searching on here this is because of faulty shock at rear, so £50 for mot and £70 for supply and fit new shock, wish i had the time i could have done it myself looks simple, he also said there was very slight play in the front nearside drop link, he said he could supply and fit for £40, but this also looks easy to do my self and will get round to it.

Classic signs is the back end jumping out when hitting a pot hole or uneven surface.

At least its sorted for another year.

Have they only replaced the 1 shock?

Should replace them in pairs, as the other 1 wont be far gone too !

Why don't you trust them to fit the correct shocker?

It's a vectra not a Ferrari so they will be fitting them often and very unlikley to make a mistake on a simple componant.

But if you like fiddling it will have a part number on and a make which you can match up on plenty of web sites.

Even the specialists get it wrong sometimes. The problem I find is with some suppliers my car does not come up on their lists so they guess, quite often they supply parts for a Vectra and they are not always the same.
    3.2 v6 Signum and loving it 😁
