hi guys so i have just got photoshop cs5 i dont have a clue where to start i want to start messing around with car pics changing colour,roofs,wheels ect ect could anybody give me some pointers or any y/tube vids of tutorials would be great cheers ste
also i hope this is in the right section.

£500 is a lot to spend on software you've had no prior training or experience with but hey ho, it's your money!! Within the box the software came in there are details of how to setup your Adobe account and access the official tutorials. There should also be details of how to access the professional tutorial and training website Lynda.com it costs £160 for a years subscription but if you've just shelled out £500+ that'll seem like a good investment.

I have to say Adobe's latest software is very clever though! They have a server system which holds details of every copy of photoshop and who owns it. Every time you launch PS, it dials into that server to log your machines details and to check it's running on a legitimate purchased serial number. If it doesn't find that legitimate serial on consecutive occasions, it locks down the dodgy copy of PS and tells Adobe's legal team what the owner of that machine is up to..... But you don't need to worry because you've paid for your copy of PhotoShop haven't you....?....

Wow big dave does illegal download pee u off then , and what u said about the security ,have never experienced any problems whilst using my mates ps and am afraid to say its been downloaded ,is this new security software ,like in in the last few days?,if so should he fear the download police lol ;-)

It was implemented in CS4. And yeah it does pee me off because I NEED the Adobe Creative Suite to make a living and every new release gets more and more expensive to subsidise the morons who think it's ok to steal it.

Would pee me of to dude especialy when it comes of your annual wage ,me a dont understand it enough to use it properly thts why a jst borrow ma mates laptop and most times his brains to do stuff ,a get what ur saying tho ,if u pay 5 hundred banger on software u wouldentr mind paying 140 to be able to use it, but as for download software ,the creators need to put some of tht cash into more security so the good guys like urself dont feel like they have been shafted wi a jaggy stick just my opinion tho ;-)
