    Default exhust thick black smoke

    hi when ever i excelerate quickly my vauxhall vetra 55 plate lets out this thick black smokes is this normal if not what is the problem. thanks in advance

    My diesel just had the same problem I had a split in my intercooler

    And depending on it being a 120 or a 150 there is a difference of swirl bar failure and inlet manifolds. If its a 120 it could be the EGR valve. Do you see where im coming from?

    Its easier to help and make suggestions if you know what engine the OP has.

    clean the egr valve mate and fill the tank with diesel and add a additive
