No probs mate
Personally I'd change the belt and pump much earlier. Water pumps can seize at 50,000 miles, snapping the timing belt! HTH

wait is the cambelt and water pump part of 100k service???, because the history mentions 100k service.
100k is vauxhalls time to change the cambelt and why they tell you to change the water pump is that is the part that normally what makes the cambelt to fail snap . you should phone up the person who serviced your car and check and see if this has been done if not id advise to have them both changed asap especially if your over 100k or even slightly under
ok will do Matrix1979, and thanks Khalid for the help. I will go there asap.
I bought genuine vx parts when I had mine done and went to an independent garage and it saved me a fortune
the service history says at 89k it had its camshaft drive belt(s)/chain(s) changed. is that the cam belt & it had a drive belt(alternator/dynamo) done as well. that means i have to get me water pump changed asap.
ALSO one more thing i was at dealers in southall. they said front ~& rear parking sensors is £500 includes paint fit supply and screen display. Is that right?
parking sensors: http://www.dealextreme.com/p/black-p...-12v-24v-10283
I have fitted two set of these and they work great, very easy to fit
That is correct, cam is short for camshaft
As the water pump was not changed, leave it
Listen out for excessive rattling and/or water leaks on the cambelt side of the engine
The cambelt would need replacing again if you replace the water pump, so you would effectively paying for something that doesn't need doing
Next tip would be to half the interval to the next cambelt change, to 50K miles, so will be due to 140K miles
At that point have the water pump changed
