There is a thread about this somewhere on here. As far as i'm aware the facelift 1.9CDTi does NOT have TC due to the revised suspension setup.

I think that's correct. Facelift cars only get traction control if they have a V6 engine or have ESP-plus, which also gives you traction control.

So as far as I understand a cdti 150 will not have TC.

Specifications for Signum on Vx-site lists "Traction control (excluding 1.8i 16v models)"
(but I read that as you cannot switch off the TC, the TC gets active at the very last minute (otherwise you could have problems on slippery roads/during winter))
the opposite would be very strange I think; every Vectra/Signum over here has even ESP+ standard which is an important security item (just like Volvo, Saab, or the more expensive limo's...). Even the Astra has it on all diesel engines and sports editions.
Discussion is on about making ESP obligatory (like ABS some years ago)

Here's an interesting one, I have traction control. I know this because the light used to come on all the time with the box in (before the 888 remap). But you know what, I can't remember the last time I saw that light?! Even when going sideways round a round about or wheel spinning down Santa Pod, it doesn't come on.

Me thinks that some where along the line it has been turned off...or, something that has hit me while writing, I put in a TC button but it never appeared to do anything. Maybe it has dissabled the TC completely? I'll pull it out tomorrow and see.

Facelift Vectra and Signum models for the UK market had traction control fitted as standard for models built up to October 25th 2005.

After this point, traction control was deleted and standard only on all V6 models. It is now an option with ESP+

I have to say, it is not really needed on facelift models, compared to my 04 reg 1.9 CDTi, the chassis copes better with the power/torque.

    Hope this helps.

My old 03 2.2 had TC, so assumed the 1.9CDTI would as well but couldn't find reference to it in the brochure, checked with the dealer & they said it had been discontiued, so I went for ESP & IDS as extras (July 06 model on 56 plate)

As Matt has already stated.... Mine was registered in October 2005 and I DO HAVE Traction Control.

It is useful with the Remap, but pain in the ar53 for rolling road days as I cannot switch it off....!!
