i bought this car of ronnie court last august 2010 in ipswich. i actually bought the car without ever seeing it but with a 50 page thread on migweb of the rebuild i knew i was safe enough. so i got it brought back on a transporter. i was delighted with it but i had one problem , while i was waiting on it to come back i bought an escort cosworth. so this march i sold it as it just never got used as my cossie got all my spare time. BIG mistake i should have held on to the gsi as i sold cossie anyways. its in aberdeen now tucked away in a shed most of the time and truely is a beautiful example of a rare mint gsi left.

i know just how you feel i had a mint grey 2 owner gsi sold it 5 years ago really was a excellent car i have been looking at getting another but silly prices for sheds now

there is one for sale here at the minute that has been rebuilt into a new shell, 6k euro is price tag though. its on jon44w.com website

Ah Ronnies Cav the dash board and black interior trimmings in there used to be mine

That's actually a Calibra twin airbag dash, the Mrs and I spent ages reattaching a cavalier vent surround to it lol

hard work steve !!! the heater actually was always stuck on warm air which was not the best on a hot day lol.

you are thinking of m00k and his is a cav turbo,same colour though and a green calibra turbo.

stunning gsi you have there,the technomagnesium wheels suit it,i have been after a 5 stud set for my cav turbo for a few years now.
