Question What's the ride like on 235/35/19 SRi suspension?

Hi all, I have a SRi V6 CDTi, the ride is already quite firm as standard, what will it be like with 235/35/19 tyres? The roads are pretty awful so don't want to buy wheels then find my teeth get knocked out lol.

The ones I am looking at are 19" Irmscher wheels, are they as prone to cracking as say 19" snowflakes?

i will probably regret getting 19's as one good thing about the 18" xp wheels are there is a good high sidewall and your not watching every hole and bump in the road. but sometimes ya have got to put your own touch on the car just to give ya that extra bit of interest in the car

Got 19's on mine on H&R 40mm drop springs and Bilstein B6 shocks which are quite a bit harder and lower than SRi suspension but it doesn't feel too hard and isn't uncomfortable. You do notice bumps in the road more than before (which is crap in Cambridge but other than that it's fine. I certainly don't regret fitting mine, love them in fact.
