Default Dust guard or not to dust guard??

Alright guys u now have all the parts I need for the 314 brake upgrade. All I need to know is it worth pulling the wheel bearing out to fit the new larger dust guard? If yes is it much more work involved?

If you have a pre-facelift it only has a small dustguard covering the lower balljoint, if you have a facelift you only have to cut a small part of the dustguard off, as the caliper is bigger than the 285mm one.

Mine is a 2006 1.9 150, fitted mine a week or 2 ago makes a good difference when braking from speed, and i only cut a small part of the heatsheild off, i did also bend the heatsheild back a little as it was very close to the disc, but havent had any problems so far

I also have a facelift model. What did you use to cut the dust guard?

I had just used high-leverage side cutters, but something like a dremmel would have worked well.
