Default chrome window sills, more hassle than there worth!??

Read an awfull lot of threads about the chrome window sills / trim on sri's tarnishing and discolouring and flaking with water been trapped behind the clear plastic coating, with all these probs of weathering are they worth getting or just stick with black ones?? Whats your experiences are they worth it or dont bother if fussy person?? Thanks

I got a full set waiting to go on, 2 not perfect but they can be changed at a later date.... Personal choice really as to whether they are worth it. I have waited more than 2 years to commit to getting them. HTH

Personally I think they're worth it, dramatically change the look, especially on dark cars, mine at 5years old and still in good nick I reckon. HTH

Got the full set matey and already had the rear quarter's Chrome tinted. The trouble with the Chrome strips is, if you get a set from a newish car they are more likely to cloud for some reason whereas if you get an older set they tend not to suffer from clouding but less chance of getting a good set, you sound much like myself, fussy lol so, only you can make the decision...
