    Default key hole light

    any ideas how i could light the key hole on the steering wheel as i,m strugling to get the key in. my garage is unlit

    Keyring torches come in handy for this kind of stuff

    thats the idea pity about the price but i,ve had a thought maybe something like a motorcycle number plate light onto the cowl pointing down might do it . you get the small bolt type leds

    Just rest your index finger along the blade with the tip of your finger being a bit longer than the key, then use the tip of your finger to feel for the ignition slot.

    This was a handy tip someone gave me years ago before cars had central locking to prevent scratching the door when unlocking it with the key in the dark.
