    I have a 2 ton one from halfords, had it about 10 years and no problems with it.

    Like THIS

    I think this is a great deal
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    Depends on what you can afford.

    I would not get under a halfords jack but if you're on a tight budget then I guess its serves a purpose. But I would STRONGLY advise a Snap on.

    I have the Halfords 4x4 one and tbh dont like it, it raises to the jacking point in one go but take a good few pumps to get any height on it. Wish id bought a Clark one from machine Mart now.

    To be fair you should never get under a car with ANY jack, thats just stupid, over priced snap on or not. Thats what axle stands are for.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    an Arcan XL30R 3.0 tonne is a great jack to use... highly recommended
