    Unhappy lumpy idling

    hi all i sprayed carb cleaner into my air intake took it for a run and now it has lumpy idling. when i sprayed it in i had a friend rev the engine so i did everything in check. please someone help. i have the 2.0t thanks

    I take it all the sensors are reconnected and pipes are tightened up? Might just need a good blast to clear it. It can sometimes dislodge a little bit of dirt that needs to get blown out the system

    Either or you have possibly dislodged some soot and oil; and the combination of the two is choking the engine in the manifold a bit at idle.

    I presume there is an "Air control valve" on the side of the throttle body. You might had dislodged soom "soot" as said above and it might has gone insde that.
    I used to have to remover the "Air control valve" off my old Vectra B and give it a good spray with carb cleaner, that used to do the trick. There were Two holes in the side (looking down from the inside) of the throttle body where I was able to spray carb cleaner into it too, if I did not have the time to remove it.

    i have this or seem to have on my 1.9 cdti 150 after i cleaned egr and boost sensor any help fellas cud just be me

    found out what the problem is. i had a diagnostics test on it and its misfiring. spark plug renewal. cheers guys
