Default Took advantage of the nice weather today

    Hey guys,

Been a while since I done an update, been busy.

Anyway, seeing as it was a nice day and had the day off, thought I'd do some jobs.

1st on my list was to fit the sunglasses holder, this was a piece of p*ss lol

Then the next job was to change the gear stick gaiter. Also fairly easy to do, theres me thinking that I had to take the gear knob off, but no. A lil trim here and there and the old one just come off, fitted the new one and looks much more tidier!

    Old & New

    New fitted

    Power Outlet Cap

I had also fitted the new rear wiper motor as it wasn't working anymore and I now have a functioning rear wiper... HURRAY, I also took it upon myself to get the rear washer jet working also, turned out that the plastic L pipe that connects the tube to the pump was blocked... so now I have a rear washer jet too.. YAY

So all this left me to do was clean the car. Bought some G3 Formula from Holdfords... I only bought the shampoo (or detox as they call it) and some scratch remover, I should have bought some of the wax but was costing too much.

Anyway gave it a good clean and finished it off with some Turtle Wax ICE which I got free from Halfords last year... some girl just give it me lol but I gotta say, i'm impressed with the results... although one thing I forgot to do, was clean my ****** alloys! DOH!

So thats me done for the day. Tomorrow need to replace the drivers door lock as now and then, usually when weather heats up past 19 degrees celsius, it'll think the door is still open.

I'm also waiting for the LEDs to come through, ordered 100 for £4.50 off eBay, thought it was a bargin and in no rush to do it as they're coming from Hong Kong and said it'll take 12-24days lol, so i'll keep you all updated.

Anyway, hope you like my pics

    Lew

Actually got it from eBay for £1 buts it officially for Land Rovers... It was too loose but managed to bend out the plastic clips and put some weight on it to keep it thr way, now it clips in just fine :-)

Was it just the sun glass holder you changed or the whole complete unit light as well, you got a part number.

It was just the sunglasses holder mate, I got it from eBay, just searched for 'Vectra C Sunglasses' and it brought it up... I think some searches will bring up the whole light unit too.
