    Default Just what i needed

Just got back from center parcs last night (having spent a fortune) to discover i picked up not one but three huge nails in the side wall of my tyre. ace, thats just what i needed. took it a couple of places this morning and both said it couldnt be repaired (as i thought) so had to get a new tyre £160 for the goodyear ntc5 or £90 for a falken, so had to go for the falken as i am now skint till pay day. i hate having different tyres on my car talk about ocd. drivers side has the goodyear front and rear but near side has now got a conti front and now this falken at the rear. thats gonna bug the life out of me now. And to make it worse my mate got a nail in his audi tt last week and took it to a garage near him, couldnt be repaired but fitted him a part worn which was like new for £50, just my luck. as my dad always said, if i fell into a pool of t@ts id come up sucking my thumb.

my mrs said im mad, a tyres a tyre she said. shut up woman. I cant do anything about it now, i guess i will just have to put up with it. I either buy another falkon for the front near side, then at least both near side tyres are the same or look out for a cheaper goodyear.

i could do that myself couldnt i. i didnt think of that at the time as i was too upset at the thought of buying another tyre haha. could i put the off side rear to the front near side? if so that would mean both goodyears would be at the front and the rear would have the new falken and an old conti if that makes sense

might do that then, then as you say just replace the conti with a falken at some point, at least the front and rear tyres would be the same then. will i have to check that conti tyre to see if that can go on the rear??

just been out to the car and cant seem to see an arrow on any of the tyres to indicate direction of rotation etc, so can i assume that it doesnt matter on the rotation. and also would it matter if i just swapped the offside rear to the near side front ( this would then mean both goodyears would be at the front) or is it dangerous in anyway to just swap two wheels, sorry for 101 questions
