How long should the suspension take to settle

Okay so I had the car up today to top up the power steering fluid and now that we've let the car back down the drivers side front seems to sit a bit higher.

Is this my imagination, how long should it take for this to settle down?

Any advice on this appreciated.

Oh forgot to say it's a 52 plate 3.2 GSi if that makes any difference (stiffer suspension may take longer to sort itself out??) *and* it's just had two new springs at the front for its' MOT but was fine before I jacked it up...

It will settle after you drive it.

Well I've driven it for a few minutes and they both look level now but the front still seems a bit high.

I'm sure this is my imagination playing tricks on me though!
