Feedback needed: EBC Brakes

Hello,
anybody used EBC 'turbogroove' discs and their 'red stuff'?
The biggest plus for me is that this kit is to be fitted on stock without any modifying.
Is there any minuses?

I have the discs but green stuff pads and they work really well

I have used green stuff in the past, and found them very good.

The first time you use your brakes in a morning with the red ones they won't stop very well at all, however very good when up to temperature (more for track days than road usage).

I used to run the discs and red pads (314mm brakes) and never had an issue...yes they do work better after a lil warm up but even cold they out perform the standard stuff.

what d'you mean - a little warm up?
just several brakings when started moving?

And if you get drilled/grooved discs youll take a little time getting used to the hissing when breaking

Used to run these on my Mondeo ST, it stopped very well, but the grinding noise each time you applied the brakes was too much!

As in they worked better than standard when cold but as they warmed up they were loads better..hmmmm for example..if slowing down at speed you'd feel the braking increasing without putting anymore pressure on the pedal. for a standard upgrade they're good... I've since upgraded my brakes to..well lets say my rears are 325mm.... and I still use red stuff pads all round.

I've never tried green..... but to clear things up....found this(on migweb)..seems black to yellow the lower operating temps are the same and only the max temps increase...apart from the blues which are track use monsters lol..



I'll be going for yellows next

hope that they will work fine when winter comes...
