    Default Reverting back to cd30

hi all i was just wanting your opinions about switching back to my cd30. I currently have the apline 9850i (ipod one). although i really like it i love the look and sleakness of the factory head unit, so my question is shall i go back to the cd30 and get an itrip or similar or stick with the alpine?

    cheers guys

stick with alpine in my opinion - if you;ve taken the plunge and gone for an aftermarket HU already then you'll only be disappointed with the sounds quality when reverting.

    just my opinion though

    FFS!

Just try it for a day....I bet before you get home again you'll be dying for the Alpine back!

I was impressed with the CD30 too, but I replaced mine with a Pioneer unit, and the difference in sound quality, particularly the clarity, is immediately noticeable, even with the standard speakers.

    Dont do it!!!!!

I have experience of both. There is no contest, keep the Alpine. The CD30 is tinny and distorts at the first suggestion of Bass.
