Default How do I remove the plastic door pillars?

I've searched the forum and people have said to wind down the window and pull back the rubber weather strip to reveal some screws. I've don this but can't see any screws! Has anyone got a photo to make things easier for me?

I'm planning on wrapping them in a high gloss black to tie them in with my limo tints.

    They're not plastic, they're metal

Don't have any pics, but yes, it's just wind down the windows, pull out the rubber channel that the window runs in and there's three torx bolts that hold the metal cover in place. These are on the side the trims are on obviously on each door.

The rear one on a hatch is slightly different as there are bolts under the triangular (ish) plastic trim inside the car too.

Thanks Ian. So actually remove the vertical rubber seal and then all revealed? I'll go have a look in my lunch break.

Just had a look at the rubber seals and I now see how they come out. If this goes well I may make (another) HOW2

Done a few people's on here now, it's a fair old trek for you to come, but if you ever fancy the drive over to just outside Ely (Cambridgeshire), I'd be happy to do them for you. Just buy the film from Ebay before you come over
