Default My car is having a make over

I have owned my vectra sri 1.9 cdti 150 for about 7 months now.
since buying it i have fitted a new timing belt kit, v belt, water pump, changed oil filters/fuel filters, brought a vxr boot spoiler and fitted, brought some 19" snowflakes, new glow plugs, fitted new eibach springs and had a full wheel alinement.
Ive never done any work on a car before and am really enjoying moding/fixing the car up using how2's on here and haynes manual.
My latest purchases are a k&n panel filter, vxr front and rear spoiler and side skirts, signum fog grilles with chrome surrounds and today i have brought 4 x 245 35 19 neutron tyres.
Tonight i have taken the alloys off and they are going for a full refurb and then the new tyres will be fitted, at the moment she is sitting on 4 axle stands
shes going into the paint shop on 19th of sept to have both bumpers resprayed to get rid of stone chips and loading marks from previous owner and they will be spraying and fitting the vxr lower kit and spraying the v grille too and fitting signum fog grilles.
im then hoping to get a mas remap and then she will look how i want her like a true gen xp as all parts are gen gm parts.
Im so excited and cant wait to see her finished, im then hoping to go to a few meets as i have not been to one yet and meet some of you guys.
I will keep you updated on the progress, maybe i will ad pics starting with her sitting on the drive with no wheels.
Just wanted to share this with you hope you dont mind, I have worked really hard and banged out the overtime to pay for all this over the last 6 months but im sure it will be well worth it.
    take care all
    many thanks
    Nathan

Lots of things in plans I see. It is impressive to me, because I've made similar styling conversion. Still don't have snowies (even in plans). I started from elite and finished on opc-line/xpack. Car looks way better especially when I'm browsing some old pics. Show us the result. Cheers

Whilst yer wheels are off, you might wanna buy a small tin of smooth black Hammerite and do the middles of your brake discs!
