    Question Fitting heated leather into a non heated seat vec

    Would I need the heated seat looms aswel as the switches or is the looms already fitted to my car? My standard Sri interior is not heated btw...

    Dunno if this will help, but I replaced my half leather un-heated seats with full leather, connected up the to electrics that were already there, put in two heated seat switches, and its works! mines a 2002 pre-facelift GSi

    dunno if it will be the same on yours, sure someone will be able to advise

    Just popped off my blank switches there, have a brown drivers side plug and green passengers side plug so loom must be there then

    Like the vec b I think all dash harnesess have the plugs in ready for the switches

    I wouldnt get too excited guys , there will be the loom fitted from the left handside and right handside footwells to the switches , thats probably about it , I think you will find the one from the there to the seats and from the seats to the rear fuse box will be missing . I am talking experience here with 56 plate vectra , saying that it appears most signums if not all have the looms in place. I wouldnt like to comment on the estates. Easiest way is to see how many wires are going the socket under the seats , for heated seats theres about 8 or 10 wires , if you have much less you will need to add the wires
