    hi all,

im new to the forum (and new to owning a vectra! )

i have just got myself a 2.2 sri dti and im ver pleased with it,

so much so that i just bought a set of 19" snowflakes for it

but im not sure weather to go for 30mm or 45mm springs ?

Lowered mine on 35mm apex, probably could have gone to 40 fine though to be honest. It deffo needs some lower springs than standard springs on 19's or you'll lool like NASA! The lower the car the bigger the wheels look too. I only went for 35mm as didnt want to change the shocks too due to finances, although even at 35mm it has made alot better difference visually amd handling, so go for them unless you wanna change shocks too! Then your looking at alot more cash! Hope this helps.

They look very nice silver, ive been after doing it a while but didnt know a colour, this pic made my mind up! Ha, and regards the springs, i just read a few threads on here advising if goin lower than 35mm on standard sri shocks its advisable to get performance shocks too or they maybe permanatly under too much strain, so i just played it safe. But If youve had 45mm on your car a while though you'll know first hand mate. Does deffo look good at that lowness.

Here's a few more after they had been on the car a few months as the first pic i'd put up was just after they had been fitted.
