    Default Caliper Rewind Tool

    Chaps,

Bought a rewind tool off ebay in a rush via my phone Saturday so waiting for delivery this week. However, now i'm on the computer I've had another look and found kits that have left and right handed threads. I take it both the rear capliers on the Vectra wind in the same way, ie right-handed (clockwise)? Or have I just wasted my money?

Reason I've bought a tool by the way is on Saturday I could only get the piston in half way with long-nose pliers, after ages of trying I gave up!

Yes they wind on clockwise. Beware that the tool you have bought may not fit the caliper indentations as I found out, but if you've bought a VX specific one you should be ok.

If it isn't, I found that a Renault Modus rewind bit for the end fits (no, really!)
