very much , i'm just getting fed up with taking it to someone to change them for me and charge me an arm and a leg.

A garage should not charge more than about an hour to change a spring.

As someone who had never done it before, I found it quite fiddly but I was struggling along without proper tools. The biggest part of it is to make sure you have the tools to take the nut off the top of the strut, have a look on here for peoples opinions. Vortex sockets, spark plug sockets, swan neck spanners etc.

It is reasonably easy to do, just make sure you get good tools including a breaker bar, spring clamps and something to turn the nut and hold the strut insert.

its not that hard to do,, the how2 on here shows you what to do and was all i needed when i first attempted mine one afternoon. If you buy them some of us can pop over and give you a hand, once you have done the once you will be able to do them again. its mainly a case of having the correct tools which is something you build up over time.

I'd say dont do it if your in a rush, you dont wana get it wrong, the rears are a doddle coz theres no messing with shocks. The fronts take a little more time, but just follow the how2 and dont rush, you'll be sorted.

Going by the how2 this is quite easy.

As for tools, being a vauxhall owner you're going to need every size torx socket & bit under the sun at some point so you may as well buy a complete kit to start with (machine mart do one for about £20) then it's just a case of borrowing spring clamps.

Someone with more knowledge will be able to confirm this but I believe you need to have the cars tracking done once its reassembled.

Very very easy to do. The how2 on here is very comprehensive. I just done my soon to be father in laws front spring and had it done in about 40mins, Would've been quicker but the spring compressor slipped and nearly decapitated me

I think the only way you'd benefit from using a ramp is the time it takes to physically jack the car up.
