    To quote the seller;

    Note: I am not a technician or mechanic & while this will work for 99% of the time, I cannot 100% guarantee that this will work for your vehicle. Please do not expect me to know why it will not work if it doesn’t as the only possible explanations I can come up with are:

    There is a fault with your key

    There is a fault in your central locking

    The instructions have been misread

    You are paying 99p for a set of instructions (of which I may get 50p after fees if I’m lucky) - this is less than the cost of a pint, & really not worth answering endless questions (to which I really don’t know the answers) as to why this didn’t work on the £2.76 second-hand key that you purchased on Ebay. Refunds will not be given, due to the small minority of people who have abused this by claiming that it didn’t work then selling these instructions themselves.

    I wouldn't worry.

    And I bet all you get are the instructions that are in the owner's manual for re-synchronising the key!! To program it you need special kit!

    Vehicle : Opel Insignia

    Trim : Cosmo

    Engine : 2.0 CDTI

    Year : 2011

    Default

    Manual 2004: simply opening the drivers door with the key to resynchronise after replacing battery

    Manual 2006: idem

    I wonder what you would get if you'd payed £0.99 to this "seller"

    But you can always transfer £0.99 to my account

    You have 30 seconds to change the battery before key lose's it's memory.

    But but syncronising with the ingintion normally does the trick anyway, what the guys fails to tell you is that most of the time, dealers charge when the transponder in the key needds replacing and this does nee tech 2 to programme a new one.

    But in the the years I have owned Vauxhalls, I have only one key transponder go down, and that was on my 04 reg 1.9 CDTi.
