    Default Vx Tyre Prices

I've seen the link to www.mytyres.co.uk

But, does anyone know how mauch Vxl charge for 215/50/17 Goodyear Eagle NCT5 tyres?

I got a quote from CostCo for Michelin Pilot Primacy = £133.70 fitted (per tyre )

Remeber my old Vectra B - reaplacement tyres Michelin Energy (stock) tyres (16") cost about £45 fitted from CostCo ... bargain, all four fitted for £180.00

    Or any other recommendations ?

Best price I've had for 215/50/17 NCT 5's is £125 each tyre (fitted) - that was an independent tyre place (they only do tyres). If your Vx place is Masterfit, they will price match tyre prices from other places.

BTW - have you considered going to 225/45/17's? Much wider choice and cheaper tyres.

I agree CostCo have been great, and supply good tyres but the 17 " for Vectra are a special order .

I also have a Volvo V50 with 205/50 R17 ... they are also a special order from CosctCo, £140.40 per corner

There are loads of Vectras now ith 17" wheels .... these tyres must become more 'common'?

Would going to 225/45/17 require a Tech2 update for Speedo?

No it shouldn't. They are only 1.9% larger than the 215/50/17's so I don't believe it will make a significant difference.

There was another (long!!) tyre thread going earlier. I'm sure it came up there - along with a lot of other techy stuff!!

Found it! Here you go, this might help.

I fitted Falkens on my 17`s, they were cheapest i could find and were decent tyres. I would go for 225/45`s tho as it opens the market up a lot and as Duncan said the size difference is minimal so you won`t notice it .
